With the new WoodEze 7-Ton Electric Log Splitter, you can quickly work through that wood pile, splitting firewood faster than ever. With 7 tons of splitting force, this splitter will dependably and safely split logs up to 20" long. The ground fault breaker will protect you against overload, yet the 15 Amp - 3 Horsepower engine will run on your regular household current, creating a much quieter wood splitter than a gas or diesel wood splitter. You can depend on years of dedicated service with the durable all steel construction.
This 7-Ton Wood Splitter come fully assembled so you can get to work as soon as you receive it. Compared to other electric firewood splitters with similar ratings, this 2 speed electric log splitter is much heavier built and therefore of highest quality.
In order to ensure safety, this log splitter uses two handed operation. With the left hand on the control lever, the right hand operates the push button switch. If either hand is released, the log splitter will freeze. If both hands are released, the log pusher will return to its starting position. The 2 speed design lets you decide how fast or how much pressure you want for splitting your wood. With a faster speed, the motor will exert 4 tons of pressure. At a lower speed there will be 7 tons of pressure - both speeds with the same single phase motor. With the flip of a switch, you can be ready for normal logs, using the first stage for faster splitting, while for harder or more seasoned logs you would want the maximum splitting force of the second stage.
